Three arrested for murder, robbery
NEW DELHI: Three persons have been arrested in connection with the murder of a retired Indian Railways official during robbery at his residence in Sukhdev Vihar earlier this month. His wife had also sustained injuries during the robbery. Seventy-five-year-old Madan Mohan Gulati and his wife Indraprabha, a retired school teacher, were sleeping in their bedroom on the ground floor around 1-30 a.m. when some robbers broke into the house scaling the compound wall. The couple’s tenant on the first floor heard their screams and called up the police. A team led by ACP (New Friends Colony) G.C. Dass found the involvement of a gang headed by one Raj Kumar alias Bhima. The police laid a trap and arrested Bhima on Friday.
