Vidarbha well placed

VISAKHAPATNAM: Vidarbha is well placed against Andhra, while Karnataka put up a good total against Punjab at close on the second day of the four-day elite Group ‘B’ matches of the all-India under-19 cricket tournament for the Cooch-Behar Trophy, here on Sunday.

Vidarbha 304 in 114 overs (Sumeet Ruikar 88, Sankalp Kamble 36, Aditya Sarwate 34, A. Chorasiya 33, Vijay Kadbe 32, M. Ajay Kumar four for 72) vs. Andhra 155 for five in 74 overs (Ch. Praneeth Kumar 74 batting, D. Siva Kumar 31 batting).

Karnataka 387 in 136.1 overs (Mayank Agarwal 178, Abrar Kazi 67, Pawan Deshpande 51, K.L. Rahul 36, Jaskaran Singh five for 96, Lakshay Seth three for 100) vs. Punjab 71 for two in 32 overs.
