Athletics campsEight athletes from Andhra Pradesh — Abdul Najeeb Qureshi, K. Krishna Mohan, P. Shankar, S. Geetha, H.M. Jyothi, G. Harathi, K. Mrudula and K. Sowjanya — have been selected by the Athletics Federation of India to attend the national coaching camps as part of the preparations for the 2010 Commonwealth Games, according to Prof K. Ranga Rao, Secretary, AP Amateur Athletics Association. Nagapuri Ramesh of SAI has also been drafted as one of the coaches for the above camps which will be conducted at Patiala, Bangalore, Kolkata and Hyderabad.
