Gold chain relieved

CHENNAI: A 74-year-old South African citizen of Indian origin was relieved of his six-sovereign gold chain at the Vadapalani Murugan Temple on Sunday morning. Police said Loganathan Pillai and his wife, who are on a tour of India, reached the city on Saturday. On Sunday after offering prayers at the temple, he found his gold chain missing. A complaint was lodged with the police.
