Burglary at Labour Minister’s farmhouse

BANGALORE: Burglars broke into the farmhouse of Minister for Labour B.N. Bacche Gowda and took away household articles and silver jewellery worth over Rs. 2.5 lakh in the early hours of Saturday, the police said.
The Hoskote police said that the burglars entered the house by breaking open the front door of Mr. Bacche Gowda’s farmhouse in Mundur village near Hoskote.
The police said that the Minister owned around 20 acres of land and a farmhouse in Mundur, and he has been cultivating crops such as banana, coconut and other crops there.
A case has been registered, according to the Hoskote police.
