ANANTAPUR: Chairman of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education K.C. Reddy has said that the medical transcription sector has a world of opportunities on par with the information technology field. Speaking after inaugurating the JKC Regional Centre on the campus of Sri Krishnadevaraya University here on Saturday he said the rural students were not aware of the course and it was the responsibility of universities to spread awareness on the new sector. Chief Executive Officer of the Institute of Electronic Governance A. Amarnath Reddy said the JKC centres were providing a platform to the rural students to improve upon their communication and other soft skills.
