They sang, danced and won prizes too

Gala time: Students perform at the ‘Festa di Talenti’ at St.Bedes Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School in Chennai on Saturday.
CHENNAI: There were children of all age groups at this festival of talents.
Teams of students from nine city schools danced, sang, presented variety shows and became ad gurus at the ‘Festa di Talenti’ organised by St.Bedes Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School in Chennai on Saturday.
The team from Gateway School, Sholinganallur, lifted the overall championship trophy.
Santhome Higher Secondary School came second, while Church Park School stood third in the competitions.
Presiding over the inaugural session, film director S.A.Chandrasekar urged students to decide upon a goal in life, plan accordingly and work towards the goal. He said parents and teachers could only show them their path and it was up to the students to take it.
School Rector and Correspondent Father Arulanandam were present on the occasion.
