Ministers visit refugee camps

CUDDALORE: Higher Education Minister K. Ponmudy and Health Minister M.R.K. Panneerselvam visited the Sri Lankan refugee camps in Villupuram and Cuddalore districts respectively on Saturday.

The Ministers enquired the families about the amenities available in the camps and their requirements.

At the Puthupattu camp, the inmates told Mr. Ponmudy that there was no proper electricity supply.

They also demanded sports articles.

The Minister promised to meet their requirements in a week.
