Abhaya case: priest’s lawyer files petition

Kochi: Lawyer for the first accused in the Sr. Abhaya case on Saturday filed a petition before the Ernakulam Chief Judicial Magistrate Court seeking a direction to the CBI to allow him to meet the accused. The petition was filed by Fr. Thomas Kottur’s lawyer B. Raman Pillai. The petition is likely to come up before the magistrate on Monday.
