FKCCI opposes new property tax system

Bangalore: The Government has let down Bangaloreans by not sticking to its assurance that it would take public opinion before introducing new methods to assess property tax, alleged the Federation of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industries.

FKCCI president D. Muralidhar said the federation and residents’ welfare associations would protest the changes made in the property tax system on November 18.
