TIRUNELVELI: One person was killed and another critically injured when a motorcycle hit a tree near Ambasamudram on Saturday. A. Balasubramanian (24) of Sundarapandiapuram near Vickramasingapuram and his friend M. Selvam (29) of the same area were returning from a temple at Veeravanallur. At Krishnan Temple, Balasubramanian lost control of the motorcycle and hit a tree. While Balasubramanian was killed on the spot, Selvam was seriously injured and has been admitted to Tirunelveli Medical College Hospital.
