Bhat exits

New Delhi: The Indian challenge ended with Arvind Bhat suffering a 13-21, 10-21 defeat at the hands of China’s Kai Wen to crash out of the quarterfinals of China Open Super Series badminton tournament in Shanghai on Friday.

Kai played from the nets, bagging 24 points against Bhat’s seven, who was just no match for the Chinese.

Bhat will next play in the Hong Kong Super Series starting from November 24. He will lock horns with World No. 8 Joachim Persson of Denmark on November 26 at Hong Kong. — PTI
