TIRUPATI: The reported move by the TTD management to allot about 43 cents of land on a 30 years lease to the Brahmakumari Samajam in Tirupati has come in for a strong resistance from the TTD Employees Association. General Secretary of the association has in a statement opposed the move on the ground that it might lead to the Samajam annexing the adjoining 5 acres of land set apart for the construction of apartments for TTD employees. The Association appealed to the TTD Board to drop the move and expedite construction of apartments .
