Udyogasri allocated Rs. 400 cr. in budget: MLA Training programme to commence on December 1 Rajahmundry: Undavalli Aruna Kumar, MP, has said that the Rajiv Udyogasri scheme will reduce unemployment in the State. Launching the Rajiv Udyogasri training and employment mela at DMH School under Rajahmundry Municipal Corporation limits on Friday, he said that youth should take life as a challenge and there should be a goal to achieve and go ahead in the competitive world. He said till now the melas were conducted in 10 Assembly constituencies and the 11th constituency is Rajahmundry. Thrust areaMLA Rowthu Suryaprakasha Rao, who presided over the function, said that the Chief Minister was very particular about two schemes – Arogyasri and Udyogasri, and Rs. 400 crores budget was specially allocated for the second scheme. He said that the training programme would commence on December 1 and continue up to March 31. In every constituency, at least 1,000 jobs would be provided by the companies in March 2009. Mayor Adireddy Veeraraghavamma asked the youth not to leave training in the middle. DRDA Project Director Kumaraswami explained the process of applications and separate counters that were opened for each trade. MLC K. Durgesh, Indira Kranti Patham PD Appala Naidu and others participated.
