NCC cadets showcase talent

Ceremonial drill, cultural feats mark the occasion

Cadets told to create awareness on social issues

ANANTAPUR: Cadets of the 28(A) battalion and 6(A) girls battalion of National Cadet Corps showcased their talent in different disciplines as part of the 60th NCC Day celebrations here on Friday.Ceremonial drill and cultural activities also marked the occasion.

Speaking at the function held on the premises of Government (Arts) College, principal B. Muralidhar Rao, District Education Officer K. Munaiah, M. Thippeswamy of RDT and others said, NCC cadets could play a crucial role in educating people on social issues like terrorism. They asked the cadets to create awareness among people on the problem and make them responsible citizens.

The cadets performed taekwondo. Commanding Officer of 6(A) battalion Lt. Manjeet Kaur and other officials of the two battalions participated.
