TIRUCHI: Comaganin ‘Raagapriya,’ a light music troupe comprising visually challenged persons, will present a musical evening here on Saturday. The programme is organised by the Amway Opportunity Foundation (AOF) to raise funds for the betterment of underprivileged children, according to Regional Head (South) – AOF, S. Viswanath. ‘Raagapriya’ shot to fame with Cheran’s Autograph. Addressing the media here on Friday, Mr. Viswanath said the two-and-a-half-hour programme would be held at Breeze Residency from 5.30 p.m. “We have recently launched ‘Project Sunrise’ under which AOF will associate itself with identified orphanages and provide educational, health, nutritional and medical support to the children for a period of three years. In addition to these, we will also be installing water purifier and water cooler in the orphanages,” he said, adding that AOF had identified orphanages in Chennai, Salem, Erode, Madurai and Coimbatore. The programme would feature latest and yesteryear hits in Tamil and other languages.
