Mar Ivanios in final
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Host Mar Ivanios College moved into the final of the Mar Ivanios Trophy inter-collegiate basketball tournament at the Mar Ivanios floodlit courts here on Thursday.
In the semifinal, Mar Ivanios crushed Marian College, Kuttikannam 74-22 after leading 50-10 at the interval. Mar Ivanios will next meet the winner of the second semifinal between Sree Kerala Varma Colleage and SB College. The second semifinal was washed out and will be played on Friday.
The results: Mar Ivanios College ‘A’: 74 (V.G. Ajith 20, Albin Baby 17, K.R. Nikhil 14) bt Marian College, Kuttikannam 22 (Charlie 11).
