Anand comes home

CHENNAI: World chess champion Viswanathan Anand landed in Chennai on Thursday night to a grand reception despite the late hour.

Anand, accompanied by wife Aruna, arrived from Frankfurt.

Greeted in the arrival lounge by officials of the Tamil Nadu State Chess Association, the chess player took a few moments aside to speak to his well-wishers. — Sports Reporter
