District library to cater to all readers

VISAKHAPATNAM: The chairman of district library Thota Nagesh on Thursday said that books to cater to the needs of all readers would be purchased and kept in the library.

Addressing a meeting of the 41st Library Week celebrations which concluded today, he said that all facilities were provided to the reading public in the library. He said that the requirements of students appearing for various competitive examinations were kept in mind while purchasing books for the library. Xerox facility was already available in the library and internet browsing facility would also be made available soon. The charges for using this facility would be less when compared to what was being charged in the market. To mark the Library Week celebration, fees for high school students was reduced from the Rs.50 to Rs.15, he said. MLA Dronamraju Srinivasa Rao who was a special invitee, congratulated staff of the library for bring back its past glory.
