TDP gears up to welcome Naidu

VISAKHAPATNAM: The Telugu Desam Party has decided to organise a rally with 10,000 motorcycles to welcome party chief N. Chandrababu Naidu when he makes a brief halt in the city on November 25.
The TDP president will go to Vizianagaram district to participate in the ‘maha dharna’ aimed at exposing the “corrupt practices of the State Government.”
At a meeting attended by senior leaders, who included the former MP M.V.V.S. Murthy, district unit president B. Satyanarayana, party corporators and others, on Thursday, it was decided to hold an interactive session with the party chief in Subba Lakshmi Kalyanamandapam. Mr. Naidu, who would arrive by flight by 9 a.m., would spend some two hours in the city.
