Killed

A senior manager of the Coimbatore Airport, Subramani, was killed when the car in which he was travelling was hit by two tipper lorries on the outskirts of the city on Wednesday night.

The driver of the car and three other senior airport officials were injured.

They were admitted to a private hospital.

According to police, the officials were returning to the city after attending a meeting at Sulur.

When the car reached Nilambur, a lorry in the opposite direction collided with it.

Immediately, the car was hit by a lorry coming behind it. The car veered off the road and overturned.
