Kernex secures $17.5 m Egyptian order

HYDERABAD: The BSE-listed Kernex Microsystems India announced here on Thursday that it won a contract for $17.5 million from the Egyptian National Railways (ENR) for the supply of 136 semi-automatic level crossings. Addressing a press conference, Managing Director of the company L. V. Raju, said that the work would be executed in 15 months. The company would supply anti-collision devices (ACDs) to the ENR and was negotiating with it for another 174 gates. — Special Correspondet
