‘BSNL mela’ to be organised at Tenkasi

TIRUNELVELI: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited’s Tirunelveli Telecom District commenced its special sale programme at Tenkasi Customer Service Centre on Thursday.
Tenkasi businessman S. Mariappan inaugurated the festival and issued the SIM card to the first customer. General Manager, BSNL, Tirunelveli Telecom District V. Raju and other senior officers of BSNL participated.
The festival is being conducted up to November 23 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
All BSNL services including cell phone, landlines, Wireless in Local Loop connections etc. are being offered at concessional rates. Mobile connections under ‘Kurinji’ and ‘Mega Super’ schemes are offered for Rs. 99 instead of Rs. 249 and landline / WLL connections for Rs. 100.
Special prizes
In addition, special prizes will also be offered through lucky draw daily among those who get their connections during the mela, which include a 2 gram gold coin as first prize to one person and a wristwatch as second prize to two persons.
