Stop killing: A. Ravichandran, MP, addressing cadres at Ettaiyapuram in Tuticorin district on Thursday. TUTICORIN: Cadres of Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam observed a fast at Ettayapuram near here on Thursday condemning the killing of innocent Tamils in Sri Lanka. A. Sippipaarai Ravichandran, MP, inaugurated the fast. They urged the Central Government to intervene in the issue and save innocent lives. About 700 party members participated in the fast. R. Nanjil Sampath and MLAs R. Varadarajan and R. Gnanadoss, and Joel, district secretary, Tuticorin, addressed the protestors.
