VISAKHAPATNAM: It was a day filled with fun and excitement for the children of Prema Samajam Orphanage who were taken on a visit to MGM Selvee World by employees of ING Vysya Life on Thursday. The event was an annual employee volunteering initiative ‘education-through-fun’ started by ING Vysya Foundation, under its global flagship programme, ‘ING Chances for Children’.

The initiative created a fun-filled and adventurous experience for these under-privileged children. Fun rides, water park amusements and drawing and painting competitions marked the agenda for their fun day with the employees of ING Vysya Life. With glee clearly writ on their faces, the children enjoyed the breathtaking roller-coaster rides, and the place was filled with their excited screams and laughter. Deprived as they are of the simple joys of life, they grabbed these happy moments literally with both hands.

The ‘education-through-fun’ initiative also took place at 20 locations across the country on the same day. Employees from ING Vysya Bank and ING Vysya Life Insurance participated in the programme, involving 3,500 under-privileged children. Various activities were undertaken, including, music and painting competition, movies, art and crafts.
