Counselling for PECET candidates

VISAKHAPATNAM: Physical Education Common Entrance Test (PECET)-2008 counselling for undergraduate diploma in physical education was held on Wednesday at the online counselling centre opposite Andhra University School of Distance Education.

K. Veera Kumari, topper in the test, was the first to take admission and join SSR Government College of Physical Education, Gopannapalem. Prof. B. Satyanarayana, AU Vice-Chancellor, congratulated Ms. Veera Kumari.

Director of Physical Education M. Shyam Babu said that the management quota would be filled by respective college managements.

Of 640 seats, 42 will be earmarked for management quota in seven colleges located at Hyderabad, Gopannapalem, Produttur, Bobbili, Penumantra, Kadapa and Hindupur.
