Stir against delay in bridge completion

KULITHALAI: Cadres and leaders of the AIADMK staged a demonstration at Lalapet on Tuesday to protest the “inordinate delay” in the execution of the Road Overbridge work there. They held the Union Minister for Road Transport, Highways and Ports T.R. Baalu responsible for the delay.
State Organising secretary M. Chinnasamy presided over the demonstration. AIADMK district secretary and Karur MLA V. Senthil Balaji, former Minister A. Pappa Sundaram, district treasurer P.K.S. Murali, former MLA Sasikala Ravi, Krishnarayapuram Panchayat Union chairman N.P.A. Ganesan, office-bearers of the front organisations and other cadres participated in the demonstration organised at the Santhaipet bus stop.
