Court stays operation of GO

HYDERABAD: Justice Gopala Krishna Tamada of A.P. High Court on Wednesday stayed operation of the order of the government which permitted commercialisation of Jubilee Hills area.

The judge was dealing with the petition filed by Jubilee Hills Cooperative Housing Society Limited. The petitioner said that through its impugned G. O., the government had paved the way for construction of high-rise buildings in this residential area. .

The concept of master plan and residential areas where citizens could live peacefully was being violated by the government itself, the petitioner alleged.
