Attack flayed

Staff Reporter

PUDUKOTTAI: Former Union Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party leader Su. Thirunnavukkarasar has condemned what he called ‘inaction’ on the part of the Central and State governments despite oft-repeated assurances to check the threats caused to the lives and belongings of the Tamil Nadu fishermen by the Sri Lankan Navy.

In a statement issued here on Wednesday, Mr. Thirunnavukkarasar said that the Centre had not initiated any action against several such incidents of rounding up as also in cases of opening fire at Tamil Nadu fishermen by the Sri Lankan navy.
