Bangalore bags title

MANGALORE: Bangalore District Football Association bagged title in the State-level inter-district football tournament here on Tuesday defeating host Dakshina Kannada Football Association in a tie-breaker. The teams were locked 1-1.

In the tie-breaker Dakshina Kannada scored once while Bangalore romped home with three goals.

The results: Bangalore district 4 (Rasin 30, Sangdar, Rakeshbabu, Arun Pande) bt Dakshina Kannada district 1 (Magdoom 23). — Special Correspondent
