State body building championship

CHENNAI: Over 400 participants from 28 districts will vie for the title of ‘Mr. Tamil Nadu title’ in the state body building championship to be held at the Nehru indoor stadium on November 23.

The championship will see competition in eight weight categories from 55 kg to 85 kg plus. Each district will send two entrants for each weight category and at the end of the initial competition, the winner of each of the eight categories, will vie for the title. The title-winner will also be presented with a Yamaha sports bike.
