Actor meets TDP president at his residence

Naidu to reveal actor’s entry at ‘appropriate time’

HYDERABAD: Telugu Desam Party president N. Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday threw hints that film star junior NTR could campaign for the party.

At a press conference, Mr. Naidu said he would reveal at appropriate time, as to when the actor would start working for the party. Earlier in the day, the actor met Mr. Naidu at the latter’s Jubilee Hills residence.

The meeting assumed significance in the backdrop of reports that he had skipped Yuva Garjana at Guntur and may not campaign for the party. There was speculation that he took this decision as he was unhappy over the way his mother was treated by the NTR family.

But on Wednesday after the meeting, Mr. Naidu kept smiling to questions and said junior NTR met him as he was a family member and that he had to skip Yuva Gurjana because of the shooting schedule. “He would soon campaign for us but when I can’t say”.
