Cheque handed over

Krishnagiri: A cheque to the tune of Rs. 50,000 was handed over to the widow of ex-servicemen L. Duraisamy, who died during the Krishnagiri Assembly Election duty in the year 2006.

District Collector Mr. V.K. Shanmugam handed over the cheque to Duraisamy’s wife Sinammal on Tuesday at the Collectorate, according to a press release that was issued here recently.
