Sri Lankan Tamils relief fund collection

NAMAKKAL: The district administration received a sum of Rs. 2.23 lakh towards the Sri Lankan Tamils relief fund till November 17.

A press release that was issued here said that the administration had received contributions to the tune of Rs. 1.05 lakh on Monday alone. Collector U. Sagayam received the sum. Sri Lankan refugees staying at the camps in Erumapatti and M. Mettupattu also contributed for the relief fund.
