VISAKHAPATNAM: The Park has announced a 40 per cent discount on all purchases made at the hotel during the three-day festival beginning at its premises from Friday to Sunday, on the occasion of its 40th anniversary. Talking to media persons here on Wednesday, executive manager of the hotel Siraj Mukherjee said the hotel had planned a string of activities and promotions aimed at providing high value entertainment and benefits to the citizens. The 40-hour celebrations get underway with the Coyote Ugly night on Friday evening where international performers were being flown for the event. A giant 10-kg cake would be cut at the stroke of midnight and the action would continue the next evening with an exclusive swimwear fashion show by the poolside which would feature the latest design picks of a leading Mumbai-based designer. About ten models from Mumbai and Kolkata had signed up for the show, he disclosed. The celebrations culminate with a Sunday morning Champagne Brunch and offer would be unlimited sparkling wine, a liquid unlimited buffet, and an elaborate choice of Indian and international cuisine. “We owe much to the citizens of Vizag which is why we have offered 40 per cent discount on any purchase made in the hotel during the three days. The discount applies to rooms, banquets, food, beverages, health club memberships and cake orders from November 21 to 23,” Mr. Mukherjee said. He also said that the year was a very special one for The Park -Vizag, the only five-star hotel in the city now. It had won the Tourism Award for Excellence in the five-star category for the third consecutive year, its events and its food festivals highly successful, thanks to the public support, he stated. Director sales and marketing Jaydeep Biswas, Associate Directors Amlan Kumar Dasgupta (PR) and Ashish Bakshi (Food and Beverages) were present.
