Day-return flights re-introduced

CHENNAI: Air India will re-introduce convenient day-return flights between Chennai and Bangalore from Thursday.

An official release stated that an Airbus A-319 flight would operated twice daily between Chennai and Bangalore. The daily morning service, IC-541 will leave Chennai at 7.25 a.m. and reach Bangalore at 8.10 a.m. On the return direction, IC 542 will leave Bangalore at 9.30 a.m. and will arrive at Chennai at 10.20 a.m.

Similarly, the daily evening service IC-543 will leave Chennai at 7.35 p.m. and reach Bangalore at 8.20 p.m. On the return direction, IC-544 will leave Bangalore at 9 p.m. and arrive in Chennai at 9.50 p.m. — Special Correspondent
