Child labour detected

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Two instances of child labour were discovered in the city on Tuesday following inspections done by the Child Labour Task Force.

The inspections were led by the district labour officer and were done on the directions of the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights.

Two identified

Two children, who seemed to be aged below 14, were found working at a savouries shop at Kamaleswaram and at an eatery at Pazhavangadi.

The two children were sent to the Children’s Home at Poojappura for rehabilitation, a press note said.
