Bus strike on Chittoor route

KOCHI: Private bus workers on the Chittoor route will strike work from Saturday, demanding action against people who reportedly attacked a bus driver.

The Private Bus Thozhilali Federation (AITUC) said the police have not taken action against the car passengers who attacked the driver. The attack followed an altercation between the bus crew and the car passengers over the alleged refusal of the bus to give way to the car.
