Funds for Davangere police

DAVANGERE: The State Government has released Rs. 1.5 crore to the Police Department here to rebuild the District Reserve Police office building and Rs. 8 lakh to purchase traffic management equipment. Superintendent of Police Sandip Patil told presspersons on Tuesday that the Police Housing Corporation would construct the building. He said reflectors, signboards and other traffic regulating equipment would be purchased. — Staff Correspondent
