New facility for Delhi-Gurgaon expressway users

Special Correspondent

NEW DELHI: Mobile security and payment services firm ‘mChek’ and DSC Ltd., the developer of the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway, have introduced a new facility to recharge the balance of their “smart tag” through mobile phones.

Through this, motorists equipped with “smart tags” for the expressway can SMS ‘mchek’ along with their tag number and recharge amount to 53030 from their mobile phones and instantly recharge their account when the balance is low.

“This initiative will enhance the convenience and provide uninterrupted passage to the motorists travelling on this busy expressway which provides access to nearly 2-lakh vehicles everyday on all three plazas. This new facility will help more people switch to smart tags to avoid hassle-free travel on expressway,” said mChek CEO Sanjay Swamy on Tuesday.
