Clash: over 20 persons arrested

CHENNAI: Over 20 persons involved in the clash on the campus of the Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Government Law College have been arrested, Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi said here on Tuesday.

In a statement, he said the Chennai Police Commissioner and Joint Commissioner were transferred following the clash.

The Assistant Commissioner and the Inspector concerned were suspended.

A probe had been ordered into the incident. — Special Correspondent
