Illegal use of LPG

KRISHNAGIRI: Liquefied petroleum gas meant for domestic purposes is being illegally used in commercial establishments, marriage halls, tea shops, workshops and cars.

Those who found guilty will be punished under the Indian Penal Code and their gas connections will be cancelled forthwith.

Apart from that, families with more than one connection will also be dealt with seriously.

In this case, except the main connection the rest will be cancelled, a press release issued by the collector warns.
