Mail/Express trains will not touch Coimbatore To be diverted via Irugur–Podanur route PALAKKAD: The Palakkad Railway Division authorities here have informed that due to the remodelling works at Coimbatore yard, following changes will be made in the pattern of train services. All Mail/Express trains presently running via Coimbatore will not touch Coimbatore from November 25, 2008 to December 12, 2008. Instead they will be diverted via. Irugur–Podanur route with stoppage at Podanur. Train Nos.610/611 Mangalore – Coimbatore – Mangalore passengers will run upto and leave from Podanur instead of Coimbatore. Train Nos.634/633 Shoranur – Coimbatore – Trichur passengers will run upto and leave from Podanur. Train Nos.631/632 Coimbatore – Palghat Town – Coimbatore passengers will run upto Podanur instead of Coimbatore. Train Nos.0633/0634 Coimbatore – Shoranur-Coimbatore passengers will run upto Podanur instead of Coimbatore. Train Nos.387/388 Coimbatore – Mangalore - Coimbatore passengers will leave from and run upto Podanur instead of Coimbatore. Train Nos.887/888 Tiruchchirappalli – Palghat town- Tiruchirappalli passengers will run via Irugur, Podanur.
