ARIYALUR: A large number of school students are visiting the photo exhibition on the Life History of late Chief Minister Annadurai put up by the district administration at the Community Hall near the bus stand here.

The entry-free exhibition that would be open for the public and students on all days (except Sundays) between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., till November 27, was inaugurated by Collector R. Sudalaikannan a few days back.

Welcoming the public to the exhibition, the Collector said the exhibition featured rare photos of Anna: as a student, a married man, drama artiste, politician, and as Chief Minister.

Photos depicting his introduction of ‘padi-arisi thittam’, his part in the second world Tamil conference, his speech in Yale University, his death, and the release of stamp in his honour, are also on display, he said.
