Narayana remarks draw flak

Leaders from fishermen community, headed by GVMC Mayor P. Janardana Rao and MLC R. Ratnakumari and a number of corporators, are up in arms against CPI State unit president K. Narayana, for the latter’s remarks against Minister for Ports and Infrastructure M. Venkataramana, the only MLA and Minister from fishermen community.

Speaking to media persons here on Monday, the leaders said that it did not behove of a person of Mr. Narayana’s experience to mention the caste and criticize a Minister.
