Children’s Day

TIRUCHI: Palakkarai branch of the State Bank of India and Sharon NGO, Worth Trust and Rane TRW Steering Systems Ltd celebrated Children’s Day by conducting various competitions for school students. About 360 students from 32 primary, middle, high and higher secondary schools situated in Manikandam union participated in Tirukkural memorising, essay writing and oratory contests. City Police Commissioner A. Alexander Mohan was the chief guest at the valediction and he gave away prizes to the winners of the competition.
