HYDERABAD: Renowned management guru and world-famous thinker and writer Stephen R Covey will participate in a “full-day knowledge event” in the city on January 29 next year. Best known for his book ‘The 7 habits of highly effective people’ that was ranked number one best-seller by the New York Times, Dr. Covey will make “power packed presentations” to business heads, industrialists, CEOs, CMDs, COOs, entrepreneurs, government officials, corporate trainers, business consultants, educationists and managers. He will be visiting the city as part of his three-day tour to India. Bangalore and Mumbai are the other cities on his itinerary. Around two thousand people are expected to participate in his workshops across the three cities, a statement from the company claimed. Dr. Covey, who was named as one of the 25 most influential Americans by the Time magazine, will be talking on various topics that include ‘overcoming leadership challenges in turbulent times’, ‘how to inspire great leaders and managers’, ‘how to develop great and effective teams’, ‘how organisations can achieve business results through great execution’ among other management–related themes. He is co-founder of Franklin Covey organisation, a global leader in the field of developing and building organisational and personal effectiveness is one of the largest training companies listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Its flagship programme ‘7 habits of highly effective people’ is the largest selling training programme in the world, the company claimed in a press statement. Dr. Covey’s bestseller book, ‘The 7 habits of highly effective people’ sold over 20 million copies in 42 languages worldwide.
