Two icons found disfigured

VILLUPURAM: Two icons of Christian faith erected in separate structures at a place located in between Velanthangal and Kadaladi near Ginjee were found disfigured on Monday.

The icons were that of holy figures – St Antony and Chinnappar. A youth was held in this connection. Further investigation is on.
