‘Vidarbha model won’t work for State’

Staff Reporter

Thrissur: KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala has alleged that there are flaws in the implementation of Vidharbha model package in Kerala.

He was addressing the Seventh Congress of the Communist Marxist Party here on Monday.

CMP leader M. V. Raghavan said that offices of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) across the State should be raided just as Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh offices were. “Chief Minister V. S. Achuthanandan was concerned only about maintaining his image and not about governance of the State.

The CPI(M) State secretary is acting like a dictator,” Mr. Raghavan said.

Global financial crisis, he said, had affected Communist countries too.

“In Communist China, 9,000 factories have been closed and 26 lakh persons have lost their jobs,” he claimed
