Medical university work set to begin

Thrissur: Health Secretary Usha Titus visited the Government Medical College at Mulankunnathukavu here on Monday to initiate preliminary work on the proposed medical university. She said the Government had directed the Public Works Department to submit within a month an estimate for completing pending work on a five-storey building on the medical college campus, which would function as the office of the medical university in its initial stage.

The Taluk Officer had been directed to survey land on the medical college campus and submit a report, she added. — Staff Reporter
